Latest Projects

Optical RF Distribution Flight Demonstrator (ORFD)
Status Date: 21 March 2017
This project intends to demonstrate the attractiveness of optical distribution of RF/LO signals in terms of low mass, signal integrity and EMI immunity. A follow-on qualification program will further increase the TRL level of this implementation.
SatNetCode
Status Date: 18 March 2017
SatNetCode empowers robust and powerful end-to-end networking over multi-hop integrated satellite networks in potentially difficult mobile scenarios where packet loss and interruptions may occur. By applying adaptive Network Coding – with re-encoding option per network – significant improvements can be obtained over traditional Forward Error Correction approaches. Application areas include aerial, vehicular and maritime users with sources like photos, video and other critical data. The focus is specifically on video over multiple hops.
SHINE (Secure Hybrid In Network caching Environment)
Status Date: 8 March 2017
An end-to-end secure infrastructure for the delivery of collaborative multimedia services over integrated satellite-terrestrial networks
RF COAXIAL CONNECTORS, TNC, VERY HIGH POWER, 50 OHMS
Status Date: 8 March 2017
Radiall has developed and qualified a new serie of TNC connectors under ARTES 5.1 and 3 contract. Radiall has qualified a complete range of TNC Very High Power connectors. 14 variants have been created and qualified, and three new ESCC detail specifications have been created.
Design Tool for High Performance Antenna Systems with Periodic and Quasi-Periodic Surfaces
Status Date: 7 March 2017
The objective of the activity is to develop a design tool for RF analysis and optimisation of advanced reflector antenna systems that consist/involve periodic or quasi-periodic surfaces that can either reflect or transmit electromagnetic fields to fulfil certain radiation characteristics when illuminated by an external source.
