Description

The Ambassador shall raise awareness of the potential of space-based data, information and technologies to drive innovation in non-space application domains, and of the ESA BASS and other relevant ESA programme opportunities inside relevant non-space networks; the Ambassador shall recruit, mobilise and support companies that would be in the best position to benefit from ARTES funding in orderto advance their business concept.The Business Applications Ambassadors shall collaborate and work closely with the ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BIC), and the Technology Brokers in the Participating States, among others, as stated in the ARTES Declaration. Under this Contract, the Contractor shall provide high quality business development services to industry in both non-space and space domains, as a means to realise the objectives stated above. The Contractor shall possess and actively maintain the relevant expertise in all aspects of successful business development and innovation management and shall be able to assist industry in areas including, but not limited to, business coaching, access to funding and finance, and opportunities for relevant networking. The Contractor shall be well positioned in relevant regional and national networks and actively maintain this position.
