One of the great engines of economic growth worldwide is the space sector, which has become one of the most influential industries to transform society.
Today Europe is the second largest space power, behind the United States, with Spain being the fifth country in the sector on the old continent. With only 50 years of life, we have shown extraordinary ability in this field by competing in international markets and facing ever-increasing challenges.
To publicize the capabilities of the sector in Spain, integrate all actors in a forum of common dialogue, and share the challenges, opportunities and goals of the coming years, on October 9 and 10 will be held for the first time in Madrid the Space 2019 Congress.
Promoted by TEDAE, Spanish Association of Defense, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technologies, and with INTA, CSIC, CDTI, Engineering Institute of Spain and Ministry of Defense as organizing entities, the meeting will bring together renowned professionals from the industry, universities, public bodies and other institutions that will raise the relevance of the space sector in our country.
