A European-based SAT-AIS is an initiative in partnership between ESA and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA). The ARTES 21 SAT-AIS element aims to define a sustainable space-based system that will provide operational AIS data.
The new ARTES 21 SAT-AIS web pages include detailed information, news and announcements about SAT-AIS. The pages also provide contact information for Member States needing further details about ways to participate.
