Participation is open to all actors involved in the Iris Programme and interested stakeholders in satellite communications for Air Traffic Management.
The main aims of the information event are:
- to raise awareness about on-going activities within ESA’s Iris Programme
- present and discuss the open issues related to design activities, in view of stimulating the sharing of knowledge among projects and with representatives of he aviation community working on these issues
- to encourage individuals and companies involved in ESA's Iris Projects to meet with each other and discuss new opportunities of cooperation among participants.
The workshop is being organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport of The Czech Republic, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, and the Czech Space Office.
The event will consist of presentations of the programmatic, regulatory and technical context of the ESA Programme and associated SESAR initiatives during the afternoon of 26 May. Projects currently on-going within Iris Phase 2.1 will then be presented on 27 May.
