  • OPS-SAT VOLT & Lunar Communications Industry Day

    The UK Space Agency (UKSA) and European Space Agency (ESA) will be running a joint optical and lunar communications industry day in Bristol on 14th September 2022.

    The focus of the day will be the launch of two parallel competitions. The first competition, OPS-SAT VOLT, will be to develop the next generation optical and quantum payloads, alongside developing the platform and ground segment. The second competition will be the UK’s first dedicated commercial lunar communications call.

    This 5-day course gives a complete introductory overview of satellite communications and navigation. The course has been developed by specialists from the European Space Agency (ESA) in conjunction with leading industry experts.
