The objective of this project is to pave the way for the detailed analysis manufacturing and testing of the first PFM Ka sat reflector. The objectives within this study phase are: the analysis of Ka Sat reflector requirements, thermo mechanical preliminary design and analysis, and manufacturing and testing of development test samples.

The objective of the project is to develop a new Central Tube for Eurostar 3000 LX using EADS CASA Espacio's advanced manufacturing technology. The concept employs the fibre placement technique to manufacture in a single piece a monolithic carbon fibre cone-cylinder shell.

In the project the SkyWAN® IDU 1070´s IP and management functions are extended. Of the overall four IP/LAN ports, one provides integrated PEP functionality, including VPN with IPsec, TCP acceleration and HTTP prefetching. Also, a dedicated management port is introduced, with DHCP/DNS capability. Furthermore, the management of the new functions is included in the SkyNMS® network management system.

kyNMS merges NMS applications used to configure and operate VSAT meshed networks with those required to manage DVB-RCS star networks.

This study assessed the System Design Of Future Communications Satellites Using High Temperature Superconductors.

The objective of the SatMax project is to develop a low-profile hybrid mechanical-electronic steerable antenna allowing bi-directional high speed IP connectivity on board Light Jets through Ku-band SatCom systems.

The objective of the project was to develop a WR 340 ¼ height waveguide interface for standard high power S-Band travelling wave tubes (TWTs) with one design for conduction cooled as well as for radiation cooled TWTs.

The project aims to improve the electrical architecture of the Eurostar 3000 platform by:
studying the benefit of a decentralized TM/TC architecture of the communication module;
improving the design and performance of the power distribution function; and reducing the schedule and non recurring costs of the harness definition and manufacturing.
